Edible Sugar Glass with Allez Glucose

  • Candy Thermometer

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Allez Belgian Glucose Syrup
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Pinch Cream of Tartar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Food Coloring
  • 1 1/2 tsp Flavored Extracts

Instructions

  • Add the water, sugar, 1 Cup Allez Belgian Glucose Syrup, and cream of tartar into your pot. Set heat to medium-low to heat mixture.
  • Gently stir and bring mixture to boil.
  • Once the sugar syrup mixture reaches 300℉, it will harden up, and should become brittle.
  • Prepare sheet pan with a silicone mat or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  • Pour the hot sugar syrup onto the prepared pan or into silicone molds. It thickens very quickly so be swift.
  • Let cool for about an hour. Break up and enjoy!
