Description
It is in Peru that we find the oldest traces of cocoa, consumed as a beverage 5000 years ago. Long forgotten, the Gran Nativo Blanco is a variety endemic to Morropón. Its name comes from its high rate of white beans, the rarest and most delicate. The Norandino cooperative helps producers select the best cocoa trees, grown in agroforestry alongside mango or lemon trees. This bean, often awarded, is one of the most complex in Peru.
