Non-GMO Project Verified

Non-GMO Project Verified refers to products which are free of any genetically modified ingredients. Additionally, unlike Non-GMO (although the same ideology and practices), the Project Verified indicates it complies with the Non-GMO Project Standard which includes stringent provisions for testing, traceability & segregation. Non-GMO Project verified has it’s own recognizable logo which is stamped on packaging as well. If a product lists “Non-GMO” but does not have the official stamp, it is likely because project verified comes at a monetary cost. Oftentimes small-batch makers are content knowing their products are GMO-free, and do not have to pay the premium.
