Description
Hacienda Victoria stands on lands considered sacred in Ecuador, where cacao cultivation has been a tradition for more than two thousand years, thanks to particularly favorable climatic conditions that alternate periods of rain and drought. Thanks to the vision of Andres Guzman and Charlie Garcia, it was possible to build a modern, state-of-the-art plantation aimed at protecting Arriba Nacional cacao, whose pure cultivation has now become extinct elsewhere. Hacienda Victoria is also active in supporting the local community, funding schools and educational materials to promote learning.
The cacao grown is pure Arriba Nacional, free from contamination with CCN51. On tasting, it reveals an extraordinary roundness and aromatic notes of white flowers, dried fruit and spice, making it one of the most prized cacaos in the world; an extreme elegance, with an absolute note of white flowers.
