Askinosie handcrafts this single origin 60% dark chocolate with cocoa beans they source directly from farmers in Mababu, Tanzania, along with malted milk powder and organic cane sugar. They partnered with friends at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream’s to create this flavor-driven chocolate bar. Askinosie was inspired by the way they pasteurize raw milk and cream from small herds of grass-pastured cows to make their intensely creamy, milky ice creams.
Tasting Notes: Floral notes met with strawberry, vanilla, and a barley malt sweetness. Creamy, velvety smooth.
