BOHO Chocolate’s journey began with founder Charles Burke’s 25-year passion for chocolate, which started in a small New England shop. His dream was to create bean-to-bar chocolate from raw cacao beans. Inspired by his daughter, he traveled to South America to learn from farmers and local chocolatiers, deepening his appreciation for cacao’s origins. This experience sparked the creation of BOHO Chocolate, based in Florence, Massachusetts. The company is committed to ethical practices, prioritizing social, economic, and environmental sustainability, while the name BOHO reflects its artistic and independent spirit in crafting award-winning single-origin chocolate.
