Single Origin Belize Chocolate

Belize has a rich cocoa history, deemed the, ‘Cradle of Chocolate’ by some experts, in that it was first used here. The history stretches all the way back to the Mayan culture, as Mayan kings and general public consumed large amounts of chocolate thousands of years ago. There is even a Mayan chocolate pot which is deemed to be over 2600 years old. Evidence suggests Mayans had chocolate in one form or another with almost every meal they consumed.
