Gingerbread proudly preserves treasured family recipes while adding modern touches for easy delivery, collaborating with over 200 companies for gifting and offering more than 36 freshly baked delights each day, honoring the same beloved recipes for more than forty years.

The Gingerbread Timeline
1980
John D’Orsi started The Gingerbread Construction Co and quickly sold out at his first Christmas trade show.
1987
The company opened its first retail store in 1987 in Winchester MA and broadened its offerings to include muffins gourmet cookies and more.
1992 – 1996
To meet the growing demand a second production facility was established in Woburn MA in 1992 followed by another retail store opening in Wakefield MA in 1996.
2003
In 2003 Gingerbread launched its e-commerce site enabling nationwide shipping.
2004 – 2013
The following year it made its first appearance on the Food Network with features on Roker on the Road and later on Unwrapped also appearing on ABC’s The Chew in 2013.
