Asbach's Legacy of Excellence
We have Hugo Asbach to thank for these delectable treats. After the spirit was first crafted in 1892, the product evolved in 1924. At the time, it was not proper for women to drink alcohol in public, although eating chocolate was permitted in the “Golden Twenties.” In response Hugo smothered his Brandy in bittersweet chocolate, resulting in the treat still made today. These delicious Asbach chocolates are made exclusively by the RC-Confiserie in Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany. The creamy, rich chocolate is combined with Asbach Uralt brandy, a popular German spirit first crafted by Hugo Asbach in 1892, to create delectable treats that will have your taste buds begging for more.

“This is my go to candy. When I’m having a day, I just bring out a box of this and well to tell you truth time I finish the box. I am feeling very good. It is the best chocolate there is. I love every bit of it. . I used to work for an airline and somebody introduced it to me and once I found out about it, that was all she wrote after that that’s the only thing I ever look for. It’s the best chocolate around and I always share and everybody that knows me and knows I got chocolate. They quickly come over because I know what I got.”
