Fairtrade
Fairtrade (different from Fair Trade) is used by organizations, brands and products that are part of the Fairtrade International System. The global network includes almost two million farmers and workers across nearly 80 countries world wide. These products have a blue and green mark/logo on the finished products’ packaging indicating it is approved under this program. With the logo, it indicates the product meets Fairtrade’s social, economical and environmental standards – they also have been independently audited by FLOCERT. This term also varies from Direct Trade, which typically has higher standards than FT.
