Pastel Ribbons are shaped in thin, flat strips for easy handling and melting. They are convenient confectioners' coatings, ideal for dipping, molding, and decorating. They harden quickly for a superior glossy appearance. White, green, pink and yellow ribbons are vanilla flavored. Butterscotch ribbon is colored and flavored butterscotch. Additional colors can be achieved by using approved oil-based food colors. Pastel ribbons are recommended for dipping candy, cookies, fruit, cake pieces and for fondue. Pastel coatings are also available in ten pound blocks for shaving into curls.
