Reading Dates on Chocolates

Many of our chocolates come from other countries therefore they are coded DAY/MONTH/YEAR.

Melted Chocolate

If your chocolate arrives melted because it was not shipped in warm weather packaging with Second Day/Next Day Shipping;
or if it was left in a location not suitable; or for other various reasons World Wide Chocolate cannot be responsible for; WWC
will not will not refund any credit back to the customer.   

When shipping to a warmer climate or in warm weather packaging please consider the following:
  1. Utilizing the warm weather shipping with Next Day/Second Day Shipping,
  2. Send your package to a place of employment or to someone who can receive the product and properly keep it cool till
    the customer can claim it,
  3. choose items such as hot chocolates, cocoa powders etc… that are not as apt to melt.

During the months of May, June, July, August, and September Warm Weather packaging and Two Day Air are
required and will be charged to the customer accordingly.

Order Cancellation, Return, Refund Dispute

Order Cancellation:  

Orders will only be cancelled if an e-mail only is sent directly to World Wide Chocolate soon after placing order.  If you wish to
cancel an order after it has been pulled and packaged, but not sent, a $5.00 fee will be charged to your account

.If your order has already been received by UPS and is in the shipping process a 35% restocking fee will be charged to your
account only if the package is returned in the condition it was sent out in.

Order Returns:

Any order that is returned to World Wide Chocolate needs to have a written note attached to the package with the reasons
for refusing the shipment.  E-mails, phone calls will
not be accepted in lieu of a written note in any case. The package and
the contents in contention (as well as the original shipping label) need to be “return shipped” in the condition it was originally
shipped in within 10 business days.

If the package is returned for reasons no fault of World Wide Chocolate a 35% restocking fee will be assessed and no
shipping charges will be refunded.  If the package is returned for incorrect address, recipient not in, refused by recipient,
etc…we will make every effort to contact you to correct and resend the package.  Any additional charges will be further
assessed to the customer as long as the fault was not World Wide Chocolate’s.

If the package is returned after the 10 business days, no refunds will occur.

Because chocolate is a perishable food item and if we determine there was no fault on Worldwide Chocolate’s side and
product is returned damaged in any way, we reserve the right to not refund the customer any of their money.

Refund Dispute:  Any credit charge that is disputed and World Wide Chocolate is not found at fault, and that WWC has
done its best according to its policies, will have a $25.00 fee assessed to the customer to cover a merchant service
chargeback fee.
