PLACING AN ORDER

What Do I Need To Complete An Order?

You will need a valid email address, a valid credit card, and an accurate shipping address.

How Do I Place An Order?

To begin the ordering process, select the “Add to Cart” buttons for the products of your choice. With each Add to Cart button you click, you will be taken to the Shopping Cart. To continue shopping, either click on your Back key which will take you to product page you were just on, or you may click the Keep Shopping link below the product selection(s) which will return you to the home page. Once you have added an item to your cart, you will see the option to begin the “Checkout” process. During checkout you will need a credit card and a valid email address to complete your order.

Will An Invoice Be Shipped With The Box If Shipped To An Address Different Than The Bill To Address?

No, we do not include invoices in the box. Your gift recipient will not see details such as order total or transaction information. These details are sent to the gift buyer via email.

Can I Place A Custom Order?

Yes. Please complete a Contact Form and tell us of a custom gift idea you would like to consider.

Does World Wide Chocolate provide a wholesale buying service?

Yes, we have offered a Wholesale buying service to preferred business partners since January 2008. Visit our Wholesale page for an application and more information. Also, please feel free to complete our Contact Form to ask for more information.

Is My Credit Card Secure?

Our shopping cart pages are secured by the Yahoo Shopping Network- a leading global Certification Authority that uses stringent authentication and verification processes to ensure your credit card information is safe. Using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, we encrypt your billing information when we process your order. This means that it is protected and not readable until it is received by the payment gateway. To protect your long-term security, we do not save your credit card information after your order is complete.

Can I Send A Gift Note?

Yes. During the checkout process, you will have the option to enter a note for your shipment(s). The gift note will be included with your selected product when it ships. Invoice or order total will NOT be included in the shipment.

Can I Ship To Multiple Recipients?

No, not for standard orders. However, please complete our Contact Form to inform us of special multiple recipient shipping circumstances and we will try to accomodate you.

Are Orders Guaranteed?

We stand by the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the product, we will provide a full refund. If your product ships late and arrives after the expected arrival day, we will provide a full refund. Exceptions may apply in cases of hot weather shipping. Please see “Our Guarantee” (link at top of every page) for details.

Can You Fulfill Custom Or Bulk Orders For Special Events?

Yes. occasionally orders are placed beyond the amount of inventory we have on hand. If that is the case, we will determine if we will be able to fulfill your order in a timely manner. Also, please feel free to please complete our Contact Form to submit your custom or bulk order inquiry.

Will You Send Me An Update?

After we ship your order, UPS will send a confirmation e-mail with a UPS tracking number along with a link to the UPS order tracking page.

Where Is My Order?

Within your product receipt email will be a link to the UPS tracking page where you can track your order.

SALE ITEMS

I am interested in buying an item marked SALE. What should I know about SALE Items?

The most important things to know are: 1) All items marked SALE, whiether it be in the Sales section or in the item caption field just above its Add-to-Cart button, are final. No refunds will be issued for any SALE items. 2) Some items in the SALE section may also be near or beyond the “best before” date.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

What If The Recipient Is Not Home?

All shipments are made with UPS. World Wide Chocolate does not require a signature for all shipments. In cases where a signature is not required, the UPS delivery person will usually leave the package in a safe place. In some cases, the UPS delivery person may choose to NOT leave the package at the door if he/she believes it is unsafe. In such cases, an attempt to deliver is made the following day. The UPS driver will leave a note on the door. The recipient may sign the back of the note to allow package drop-off on next delivery attempt.

What Days Of The Week Do You Deliver?

All shipping is done via UPS. UPS delivers packages Monday through Friday. However, during the warm weather packaging season which is May 1 to September 30, we only ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for UPS Ground and 2nd Day Air to ensure that the package arrives within a 2 day delivery window. This ensures that your order will not be damaged from heat or humidity since it is enclosed with frozen gel packs. However, you may request UPS Next Day Air Saver shipping on Thursday in order for your package to arrive by Friday.

How Are Products Packaged?

There are no invoices or order totals included with our shipments. During the warm weather season (May 1 to September 30) we use frozen gel packs as well as insulated containers to ensure that your chocolate product does not melt. Beyond this specific time period, warm weather packaging is an option that you can select to be included in your order. Visit our Warm Weather Packaging page for more details.

Can The Driver Leave The Package At The Door?

In some cases, the UPS driver will determine that it is not safe to leave the package at the door. If your recipient will not be available to receive the package, he/she can sign the back of the note that UPS leaves upon the first delivery attempt. On the next delivery attempt, the driver will leave the package if the recipient has signed the release.

Can I Schedule A Special Delivery Date?

Yes. If you need delivery on a special occasion, we can help. To submit your desired delivery date, you must add a product to your cart, then enter your email address and billing information. Please include these details in the Comments box in the Other Information section on the Checkout page.

Do You ship Outside The U.S?

No, we only ship within the United States. Please visit our Shipping page for further details.

Can I Ship To An APO Or FPO Box?

We ship to APO/FPO addresses through the United States Postal System at the rates charged for ground UPS shipping.

Can I Ship To A PO Box?

Unfortunately, no. All of our shipments are done through UPS and UPS does not have the ability to deliver a shipment to a PO box.

How Much Will Shipping Cost?

All shipping is done via UPS. During Checkout after you have entered your shipping information including your zip code, you can then select your Shipping Method and click Apply. The shipping cost will appear in the right hand column below all of your selected items. Shipping charges vary based on the location of the recipient.

I Have A Gift Certificate, Do I Need A Credit Card?

Yes. You must provide a credit card to redeem your gift certificate. Please type your gift certificate number in the Coupon Code / Promotional Code box in the Other Information section just below the Shipping/Billing Information section. Then, click Apply. Your gift certificate amount will be applied to your order.

How Do I Use My Coupon or Gift Certificate?

To redeem a coupon or gift certificate, begin by adding products to your cart. When you proceed to the Checkout page, please type your gift certificate number in the Coupon Code / Promotional Code box in the Other Information section just below the Shipping/Billing Information section. Then, click Apply. Your gift certificate or Coupon Code amount will be applied to your order.

Why Won't The Coupon Code Work?

Typically when you get a message stating that a coupon code does not exist after you click Apply next to the Coupon Code / Promotional Code box, it is because you either typed in the coupon code incorrectly or you put in a space between a coupon code letter or number. It is recommended that you copy and paste the coupon code directly into the code box.

Can I Combine Gift Certificates Or Coupons?

No, only one gift certificate or coupon can be redeemed per order.

Every newsletter email sent contains a link to unsubscribe or change how often you receive email.

Newsletter sign-up can be done from our Newsletter page. In our newsletter you will receive our weekly promotions, contest notices, gift or recipe ideas as well as other important notifications.

No, it is related to your personal settings on your computer. The Yahoo Store Management system utilizes “cookies” to keep track of your order before checking out. (“Cookies” are small data files written to your computer). If your Internet settings block such activity, then the Yahoo Store Manager cannot keep track of your order.

To allow Yahoo Store Manager to work properly you will need to modify your settings as follows…;

  1. Open up an Internet Explorer session.
  2. Click on the “Tools” option.
  3. Then click on the “Internet Options” selection.
  4. Choose the “Privacy” tab.
  5. Move the “slider bar” until it reads “Medium High” (or lower).
  6. Apply your changes, and close your Internet Explorer session.
  7. Open a new session and go to www.worldwidechocolate.com to start shopping.
